Job summary

Phoenix House by Salutem Care and Education in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a new children’s home. You’ll provide nurturing, trauma-informed care and support daily routines, education, activities and family contact, helping young people grow in a safe, trusting environment.

DBS checks will be completed as part of recruitment. You’ll work with a compassionate team, build strong relationships, and contribute to safeguarding and records, while undertaking

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised, trauma-informed care that meets individual needs.
• Support daily routines, education, activities, and family contact.
• Build meaningful relationships through empathy, consistency, and effective communication.
• Contribute to handovers and accurate record-keeping.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, social workers and other professionals.
• Undertake sleep-in shifts and flexible working hours to meet the home’s needs.
