Job summary

Certitude is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker in Ealing to help people live the lives they want, in home and community settings. Salary is £26,756 per year with a 37.5-hour week in a permanent full-time role.

You will build meaningful relationships, promote independence, and contribute to a supportive, person-centred environment. Training and DBS checks are provided, along with pension and benefits.

Qualifications

• Able to support people who may challenge (verbal/physical), including autistic spectrum.
• Calm, confident and professional in challenging situations.
• Experience supporting people with mental health needs, learning disabilities, or profound learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with the people we support and their loved ones.
• Promote choice and participation in daily tasks.
• Co-create opportunities for people to try new things and provide information for informed choices.
• Offer personalised support by leveraging people’s strengths to build confidence and independence.
• Encourage participation in activities that bring joy and meaning.
