Job summary

Making Space is recruiting a Support Worker for our Supported Living services in Clitheroe, Lancashire. The role is 30 hours per week at £13.12 per hour, with Monday–Friday patterns and weekend work on a rolling rota.

A driver is required to cover different sites, and you will work across multiple locations within our services. We value Kind Hearts, Tailor Making, Dreaming Big, Having Courage and Being Ready, and offer ongoing training and development to help you progress in social care.

Qualifications

• No prior specific qualifications required; emphasis on values and ability to work with people.
• On-the-job training provided to support your development.
• Basic computer skills are required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Support adults in a person-centered way to live independently.
• Assist with medication support and community access.
• Help with domestic tasks and daily living activities.
• Build relationships with service users and colleagues.
• Demonstrate patience and a sense of humour in daily interactions.
