Job summary

Making Space is seeking a Support Worker to join James House in Northwich. You will assist adults in Supported Living to live independently with person-centred support, including medication assistance and helping them access the community.

No formal qualifications are required; we value your values and ability to build relationships. On-the-job training is provided with opportunities to pursue further qualifications.

We have an opportunity available for a Support Worker to join the team at James House based in Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 7DE.

Salary £13.12 per hour

Hours 28 weekly

Look no further than working with us here at Making Space! As a Support Worker in Supported Living you'll be supporting adults on a person-centered basis to live independently, helping them move toward independent accommodation.

From medication assistance to accessing the community and domestic tasks, your days will be varied, and no two days will be the same. That's why we're looking for someone who can think on their feet and truly understand our clients' needs with a big smile that lights up our service users' faces.

We're not too concerned about qualifications for this role; we're more interested in your values and how you build relationships with our service users and fellow colleagues. It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
