Making Space in Clitheroe is seeking a Support Worker to join our Supported Living Services. You will assist adults to live independently, support with medication access and community activities, and help with domestic tasks to enable daily living.

Job description

We have an opportunity available for a Support Worker to join the team at our Supported Living Services based in Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB9 4PZ and BB7 1QT.

Salary: £13.12 per hour

Hours: 30 hours weekly

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, with 30 hours worked between either 8:00am–6:00pm or 9:00am–7:00pm. Weekend work is required on a five-week rolling rota, covering Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am–1:00pm.

A driver is required, as the role involves covering different sites.

From medication assistance to accessing the community and domestic tasks, your days will be varied, and no two days will be the same. That's why we're looking for someone who can think on their feet and truly understand our clients' needs with a big smile that lights up our service users' faces.

We're not too concerned about qualifications for this role; we're more interested in your values and how you build relationships with our service users and fellow colleagues. Qualifications

It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.

Please note, basic computer skills are required for this role.
