Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a residential support worker in Spalding to help young people in a homely environment, supporting their individual needs and helping them overcome challenges.

You will join a therapeutic team led by a registered manager, participate in activities, carry out household tasks, and provide emotional and physical support to enable the children to reach their full potential. DBS checks and fully funded training are provided.

• Act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs.
• Enjoy fun activities and days out such as football, play station, cycling and baking.
• Encourage and share hobbies and interests

• Provide emotional and physical support to allow the children to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations
• Build friendships and trusting relationships
• Help them to find pleasure in everyday tasks
• Empower them to make decisions about themselves

Job description

Location: Spalding - Peterborough PE6, PE12

Full time hours working 14 hour shift, long day plus sleep in.

Full UK Driving licence is required.

What do you need?

• The ability to relate well and share interests, give encouragement and get involved.
• Full UK Driving licence is essential.
• We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient with a keen interest in young people and their lives today.
• Great communication skills, positive and energetic.
• Experience within childrens care is highly beneficial.
• You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins.
