Job summary

Keys Group provides safe, supportive homes for children and young people with complex needs. As a residential support worker, you will join a caring team in a home environment and help meet individual needs through positive, supportive interactions.

The role includes encouraging hobbies, participating in activities, and cooking and cleaning duties to maintain a home-like setting while promoting the young people’s independence and wellbeing.

Full time hours working 14 hour shift, long day plus sleep in.

Full UK Driving licence is required.

As a therapeutic support worker you will
  • Be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager.
  • Act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs.

What do you need?
  • The ability to relate well and share interests, give encouragement and get involved.
  • Full UK Driving licence is essential.
  • We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient with a keen interest in young people and their lives today.
  • Great communication skills, positive and energetic.
  • Experience within childrens care is highly beneficial.
  • You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins.
