Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our teams in Rushmere St Andrew, Ipswich. You will support individuals with learning disabilities in daily activities and emotional well-being, fostering their independence and social inclusion.

We offer full-time, part-time, and relief contracts. Shift patterns include days and sleep-ins, with a 64.20-pound enhanced rate for sleep-ins. DBS checks and references apply; visa sponsorship is not available.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

What we're looking for:

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Contract options:

• Full-time: 37.5 hrs
• Part-time : flexible hours based on availability
• Relief: Flexible working with no set hours/shifts

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

• Days: Between 07:01-22:00
• Sleep-ins: 22:00-07:00

There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £64.20
