Job summary

Encompassborders in Jedburgh is seeking Personal Assistants to support morning personal care and household tasks, helping the client stay independent and safe at home.

Hours: 14 per week, days and times to be discussed. Rate: £14.05 per hour. PVG check and references required; probationary period 6 months; paid annual leave 5.6 weeks pro rata.

Experience not essential; the role requires kindness, reliability, and a respectful, private home approach to care.

I am looking for support via Personal Assistant(s), to help with my morning personal care needs and support with showering. Supported to ensure that my home is hygienic and clutter free and keep on top of my household tasks. I am trying to remain as independent as possible but do require some assistance to ensure my safety.

Terms:

• Hours per week: 14 Hours
• Hours of work: days and hours to be discussed with potential applicants
• £14.05 per hour. Tavel cost can be considered if/when possible home move takes place.
• Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
• Probationary period of 6 months
• Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• To support client to ensure their safety and well-being when providing support as client becomes breathless very easily.
• Support client to keep on top of household chores/tasks.
