Job summary

Encompassborders in Hawick is seeking a cheerful and supportive personal care assistant to assist with morning care at the client’s home on Saturdays and Sundays.

You will provide safety support, personal care, showering, dressing, teeth cleaning, and daily routines, including catheter bag care. A positive relationship with the client and teamwork are essential.

I am a gentleman who lives in Hawick with my wife. I am looking for a cheerful and supportive person to assist me with personal care/showering on Saturday and Sunday Morning. I require full support to shower and dress as I am unable to use my hands fully. I am very sociable and have varied interests.

Terms:

• Hours of work: 2 per week as listed below:
• 1 hour in the morning around 9am. Saturday and Sunday
• A degree of flexibility can be given for the right person.
• £14.55 per hour.
• Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
• Probationary period of 6 months
• Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
• To support with personal care routine.

• Attend to any other needs as required during each visit.
