Job summary

Encompassborders in Hawick is seeking an experienced and patient support worker to assist with evening meal preparation and medication prompting for a gentleman living at home. A weekly morning shower visit is also required.

The role totals 50 hours per week, paid at £14.05 per hour. A paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata and a probationary period of 6 months apply. PVG scheme membership and references are required.

A gentleman living at home in Hawick, is looking for an experienced and patient support worker to offer him some support in the evening to prepare a meal and prompt with medication, and once a week help with a morning shower visit.

Terms:

• Hours of work: 50 per week as listed below:

Teatime Visit (15 mins per day) 7 days

Morning Shower visit (30 mins per week) 1 day per week

• £14.05 per hour.
• Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
• Probationary period of 6 months
• Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership

  • Personal care assistance, medication prompts
  • Meal and drink preparation.
• To develop a positive relationship with the client and work as part of a team.
