Job summary

Encompassborders in Hawick seeks a kind, reliable Support Worker/Personal Assistant to assist an older lady living independently. The role is to help with evening meals and general daily tasks, while ensuring safety and privacy in the home.

Hours are 3.5 per week at £14.05 per hour. Paid annual leave of 5.6 weeks pro rata. Probation of 6 months. Start planned for late October. Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership.

Qualifications

• Experience is essential for a candidate.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support me to prepare an evening meal.
• Supervision to ensure I am safe and not at risk from scalds or accidents.
• Assist me to plate up my meal when properly cooked and tidy up any utensils/pots before eating.
