Job summary

Mirus Wales is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide PBS & Autism support in Maesteg. This male-only role focuses on helping four residents live fulfilling lives within a three-story home designed for individual flats. A full UK driving licence is required for this position.

The team supports people with autism and learning disabilities, some with behaviours that challenge, and the staff are experienced and values-driven. Training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Support people to do activities they enjoy and live good lives.
• Assist with household tasks, shopping, meals, personal care, and maintaining routines.
• Encourage and support people to strengthen relationships with family, friends and community.
• Collaborate with social workers, nurses and occupational therapists to ensure the best support.
• Listen to the people supported and help them make choices about their lives.
