Job summary

Mirus Wales in Brecon is seeking a Support Worker on a 30-hour contract to help people build relationships, try new things, and live full lives within their community. You'll support daily living, accompany activities, and collaborate with care professionals to ensure meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification funded by employer.
• DBS check paid for by Mirus and registration with Social Care Wales is required.

Responsibilities

• Support people to do the things they enjoy, try new experiences, and live good lives.
• Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal planning, personal care and routines.
• Encourage and support people to strengthen relationships with family, friends, and their community.
• Work with professionals such as social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure the best support.
• Listen to the people you support and help them make choices about their lives.
