Job summary

Lifeways Burnham-on-Sea is looking for a part-time Support Worker to help a single individual live a full and active life. Pay £13.10 per hour. The shift pattern is 9am–10pm, followed by a sleep-in shift (10pm–7am), then 7am–9am the next morning. A full UK driving licence is required to drive company cars.

We’re seeking calm, caring people who can follow routines and bring positive energy, with gender-specific needs exempt under the Equality Act 2010. Training and development are supported.

Qualifications

• Part-time role with a unique shift pattern.
• Full UK driving licence required to drive company cars.

Responsibilities

• Support one individual with autism, communication difficulties, epilepsy, and learning disabilities.
• Provide 1:1 support to help them stay safe, engaged and happy.
• Assist with activities such as walks, cafe visits, music-filled car journeys and updating activity boards.
