Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking compassionate care workers to support individuals with complex needs in their homes across Wales, including Rhyl. The role offers flexible zero-hours contracts with regular shifts, day and night options, and ongoing client rotas.

You'll deliver personalised care, manage medications and equipment, assist with mobility and daily tasks, and participate in a structured training program. A supportive care team and career development opportunities are provided.

• Experience delivering one-to-one support to clients with complex needs.
• Ability to assist with personal care and daily activities.
• Capable of handling clinical equipment and medications safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to clients with complex needs at home.

• Administer medications as required and maintain records.
• Move and handle clients safely using appropriate techniques.
• Support with shopping and essential errands.
• Cover existing care packages and assist new packages as needed.

Zero-hours –In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.

What you'll be doing

This is not a domiciliary care role. You will be part of a specialist team delivering one-to-one support to clients with complex needs, including spinal injuries, brain injuries, epilepsy, neurological conditions, and learning disabilities supporting clients in their own homes with:

• Personal care
• Medication administration
• Moving and handling
• Managing clinical equipment
• Shopping
• Providing short-term and ongoing cover within existing care packages, and supporting new packages when needed
