Supporting individuals across Surrey, they offer a diverse range of services for all ages and abilities.

Theyare now looking for Support Workers to join their team on a permanent basis, working nights. They have both full-time and part-time hours available.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing, safe and supportive overnight environment for young people, ensuring their comfort, dignity and wellbeing.

Your presence provides both reassurance and practical care, making each night a continuation of the warmth and encouragement they experience during the day.

Working alongside senior support workers and the wider team, you will help meet the social, emotional and health needs of disabled children and young people during evenings, overnight and early mornings.

Additionally, you will:

- Prepare meals and help with manual handling

- Assist with cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy, welcoming environment

- Help the day team with admin tasks, signage, PECs, and review preparation

Please note, due to our client’s open and collaborative working environment and the nature of their work with children and adults with disabilities, all office-based roles can experience periods of elevated noise levels and some elements of disruption.


About You

To be considered as a Support Worker, you will need:

- Experience working with children and or young people in a work setting or voluntary basis

- Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection
- A good level of IT literacy
- To hold or be willing to work towards the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or hold an equivalent Level 3 qualification e.g., NVQ Child Care, Health and Social Care

All staff are required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. Please make it known if you are on the DBS update service.

Other organisations may call this role Care Assistant, Care Assistant - Nights, Residential Carer, Care Worker, or Healthcare Assistant.
