Job summary

Avalon Group is opening a brand-new supported living service in Harrogate. We seek caring, motivated people to join us on day-one to support individuals with autism and mental health needs to live fulfilling lives. A full UK driving licence with vehicle access is required; previous care experience is desirable.

BSL skills are a plus. Training is provided to build life-long skills and confidence. Potential shifts include weekdays, weekends, evenings and sleepovers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work.
• Experience with autism or mental health support is desirable.
• BSL skills are desirable and welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver vital support including personal care, daily living skills, finances and medication.
• Support people to live the life they choose in a new service setting.
• Adapt to varied shift patterns including weekdays, weekends, evenings and sleepovers.
