Job summary

Cygnet Heathers, part of the Cygnet Group, is seeking a confident Support Worker to help residents with neuropsychiatric rehabilitation in a 20-bed service.

You will work full-time 42 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, days and nights, including every other weekend, providing physical and emotional support, assisting with personal care and reporting welfare needs, while maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Support Worker with over 6 months of experience with complex care needs.
• Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people's lives.
• An excellent communicator and a good team player.
• Sensitive and intuitive with energy for a varied environment.
• Passionate about empowering and supporting service user independence.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs.
• Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
