Job summary

Dimensions is recruiting a Support Worker (Female) to cover MAT leave for two colleagues in a warm, supportive home in Tingley. You will join a dedicated team caring for four women with varying needs, promoting independence, daily activities, and community participation.

A UK driving licence is essential due to travel to local activities and appointments. The role runs Oct 2026–Oct 2027, with a competitive hourly rate and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• DBS check required (cost covered by Dimensions).
• Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the ladies to enjoy hobbies, activities and social events.
• Encourage independence and personal choice in daily life.
• Provide emotional support, reassurance and companionship.
• Assist with personal care in a respectful, person-centred way.
• Support with medication administration.
• Help with cooking, cleaning and laundry.
• Support attendance at appointments, family visits, holidays and outings.
