Dimensions is seeking a Male Support Worker in Newcastle to provide essential support to a gentleman in his late 30s. The role includes personal care, emotional support, and assistance with daily activities. Candidates should have relevant experience and a full UK driving licence. The position offers flexible shifts and a range of benefits, including paid training and annual leave.
£13.54 per hour (£60 per sleep shift)
Part-time - 32 hours a week
Location: Newcastle, NE5 (6 min drive from Kingston Park Stadium)

Who will I be supporting?
You will be supporting a gentleman in his late 30s who is looking for strong, patient, confident support workers with good initiative, a good sense of humour, and the ability to remain calm and supportive during challenging behaviours.
He is a very polite gentleman who enjoys outings in his car, going for walks, cooking (especially Bangladeshi and Jewish cuisines), and watching movies.
We seek experienced support workers with backgrounds in forensic settings, autism, mental health, and learning disabilities.
What will I be doing?
You will support individuals to live their lives according to their preferences and achieve personal goals. Responsibilities include personal care, manual handling, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Providing emotional reassurance during behaviours of distress is essential; full positive behaviour support training will be provided, but prior experience is required.
Shift Patterns:
Available shifts include Long Days, Sleep-In Shifts, and Shorter Day Shifts, working flexibly on weekdays and weekends. Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to promote work-life balance.
