Main Purpose

This role is based at Osman House, a 16-bed unit in Scholes, Leeds, providing rehabilitation to individuals with acquired brain injuries. It offers a community environment where residents can address cognitive, behavioral, physical, and emotional challenges. You will be trained to provide personalized support following individual plans, focusing on developing independent living skills such as personal hygiene, meal prep, exercise, leisure, socializing, and personal care. The role involves organizing and participating in various activities both at Osman House and in the local community, including art, crafts, music, sports, gardening, shopping, and swimming. You will find great satisfaction in helping residents live more independently and pursue their desired lifestyles. We support your career development every step of the way.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. Conduct yourself professionally at all times, acting as a role model to colleagues and service users, and contribute to delivering quality services.
  2. Facilitate daily routines for service users, including personal care, ensuring high standards of hygiene.
  3. Assist in developing support plans, risk assessments, and programs, maintaining accurate records as per guidelines.
  4. Implement support plans tailored to individual needs, and report any concerns to the Team Leader to ensure quality care.
