Job summary

Retain Healthcare is seeking caring, reliable Support Workers to join our Ledbury team, supporting a young female with Autism and Learning Disability in the community and at home. You will build trust, promote independence, and ensure safety and respect in every interaction.

Successful applicants will have PMVA training, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 08:00–20:00 pattern.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting young people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and behaviours that may challenge.
• Current PMVA (or equivalent) training.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Confident driving a manual mobility vehicle.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support in the community and at home.
• Ensure needs are met in a safe, respectful, and positive manner.
• Build trusting and supportive relationships with the individual.
