Job summary

Resourcing Group is seeking a compassionate female Support Worker for a day service in Truro (TR4). This part-time, days-only role involves assisting adults with profound learning disabilities and complex needs in a structured daytime environment. Induction, training and ongoing development are provided.

The role requires right to work in the UK and is not eligible for visa sponsorship. If you are patient, reliable and a team player, we'd like to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities preferred.
• Female applicants only due to service user requirements.
• Comfortable providing personal care.
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Supporting adults with PMLD and complex health needs.
• Delivering person-centred support within a day service.
• Assisting with personal care, moving and handling and daily routines.
• Supporting activities that promote engagement and wellbeing.
• Following detailed care and support plans.
• Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining accurate records.
• Promoting dignity, choice and independence.
