Job summary

Potens in Perranporth is recruiting a Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities or autism at Tarrant House. You will provide proactive, flexible and caring support to promote independence and personal development.

This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week with earlies, lates and sleep-ins, weekend work, a contributory pension, confidential Employee Assistance Programme, and funded learning opportunities including NVQ in Health & Social Care. New to care?

Responsibilities

• Providing proactive, flexible, positive and caring support to adults living in our service.
• Enabling and supporting people to learn new skills towards living more independently.
• Assisting and providing individuals with support for their emotional and practical needs.
• Working effectively as part of a team and with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Will be a part of developing and implementing person centred care plans.
