AWD online is hiring a Support Worker to assist autistic adults and individuals with learning disabilities in a supported living setting in Nottingham. This full-time role involves 37.5 hours per week with rotating early, late, long day, and night shifts, including nights, to support independence and community participation.

SALARY: £25,740 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 Hours per Week. Varying Shifts on a Rota Basis: Early/Late/Long Day/Mid-Shifts between 7:00-21:00 and Night Shift 21:00-7:00 and 21:00-9:30

JOB OVERVIEW

DUTIES

Your duties as the Support Worker include:

• Person-Centred Support: Help people achieve their aims and objectives through creative, proactive and person-centred support

• Community Participation: Encourage people to develop positive relationships and take part as equal members of the local community
• Personal Care Support: Prompt and support people with everyday tasks, including personal care where required
• Activities and Interests: Take part in a range of interests and activities that contribute to a healthy, well-balanced and fulfilling lifestyle
• Complex Needs Support: Be willing to support people with complex physical needs and wheelchair users
• Team Working: Work collaboratively with the registered manager and wider team to provide consistent, high-quality support
