Job summary

Certitude is seeking a Support Worker to provide specialist support for people with learning disabilities across our Essex services. You will help individuals achieve person-centred outcomes, support daily living tasks, and promote independence in the community.

Training and coaching will be provided to help you grow in your career. You will work 37.5 hours per week in permanent roles, with benefits including 25 days’ annual leave, enhanced DBS, pension enrollment, eye care vouchers, and salary

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities or autism.
• Ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Good IT skills.
• Willingness to undertake manual handling tasks.
• Hold a manual driving licence and be able to drive a 7‑seat van.
• Understanding of the Transforming Care Agenda.

Responsibilities

• Keep plans and records accurate and up to date.
• Support daily tasks to maximise independence.
