Job summary

First City Nursing and Care is seeking compassionate Support Workers for our Supported Living services in the Swindon area. You will provide personalised support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs, helping them live independently with dignity.

Roles include 1:1 to 3:1 support in 24-hour settings. We offer induction, training, and a range of benefits. Applicants must be 18+ with a caring, reliable attitude and a flexible approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in care or supported living.
• Flexible, positive, and person-centred approach.
• Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential (non-drivers must be able to travel independently).
• Applicants must be 18 years or over.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines, including personal care and medication.
• Assist with physiotherapy and clinical tasks.
• Prepare meals and promote healthy lifestyles.
• Support individuals with complex health needs (e.g. catheter care).
• Encourage independence with budgeting, appointments and community activities.
• Provide emotional support and assistance with evening routines.
