Job summary

Radis Community Care is recruiting Support Workers for our new Supported Living Service in Baildon, Shipley, Bradford. The role supports nine young adults with learning disabilities to live independently and engage in community activities.

Shifts are variable with alternate weekends and full-time involvement. Experience in health and social care is desirable but not essential; sponsorship is not available for this role. Training will be provided to those who join our team.

Qualifications

• Qualification in health and social care is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in supported living or with learning disabilities is advantageous.
• Ability to support daily living skills and social activities.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live independently and take part in community activities.
• Assist with daily living tasks, personal care and medication administration if trained.
• Promote dignity, respect and person-centred support.
• Assist with appointments, meal prep and household tasks.
