Job summary

Radis Community Care is recruiting for Support Workers in Baildon, Shipley, Bradford to join a new Supported Living Service helping 9 young adults with learning disabilities live independently.

Role involves personal care, daily living support, community activities and helping individuals maintain family connections and attend appointments. Shifts are variable with alternate weekends, full time. Sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifications

• Qualification in health and social care is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in supported living settings and/or with individuals with learning disabilities is advantageous.
• Ability to work alternate weekends on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with manual handling and personal care as required.
• Support with medication administration where trained.
• Help with meals and general household tasks.
• Support daily living skills and socialisation.
• Encourage independence and participation in community activities.
• Assist individuals to stay connected with family and attend appointments.
