Job summary

MacIntyre is hiring for a Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities in an all-female home. You will support daily living, personal care, and help residents stay independent and in control of their lives.

The role involves early, late, and night shifts, including weekends, with DBS checks and UK right-to-work requirements. No prior care background required; a UK manual driving licence is required and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible.
• Assist with personal care such as medication, showering and brushing teeth.
• Build close, trusting relationships and maintain a safe environment.
• Support people to make their own choices and stay in control of their lives.
• Help with everyday life skills, appointments and shared hobbies.
• Find local experiences and opportunities that encourage connection and purpose.
• Work early, late or waking night shifts, including weekends.
