Job summary

MacIntyre is recruiting a support worker to help people with learning disabilities live as they choose in Wales. The role covers daily routines, health needs, appointments, outings and encouraging hobbies.

Full training is provided and no prior experience is required; a UK manual driving licence is requested. You will work with individuals who require compassionate care and respectful, person-centred support.

Job description

MacIntyre, a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities or autism, is recruiting a support worker to help people live the way they choose. Daily work covers routines, health needs, appointments, outings and encouraging hobbies. The post is for a woman under a genuine occupational requirement and needs a manual driving licence; full training is given, so no experience is needed. Visa sponsorship is not offered, so applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.

Registration & licences

• Social Care Wales registration within 6 months of starting, if working in Wales and not already held
