Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a Support Worker to assist five adults with learning disabilities and/or epilepsy in a day centre environment run by MacIntyre. You will help with daily tasks, health and wellbeing, and support independence, with shifts ranging from outings to quiet days focused on personal goals.

Responsibilities include cooking, cleaning, life admin, driving service vehicles, and being a reliable, supportive presence.

Job description

A Support Worker role in a team supporting five adults with learning disabilities and/or epilepsy, for the charity MacIntyre. Days centre on everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning and life admin, plus helping people stay healthy, active and independent. Shifts vary from outings to quiet days at home, shaped around each person's goals. A manual driving licence is required for service vehicles, and no visa sponsorship is available at present.
