Job description

Full-time and part-time hours are available, with 2-3 day shifts per week. Ideally, you will be able to work more than 20 hours per week.

Shift Details

• Day shifts: 07:30-13:30, 13:30-19:30, or 07:30-19:30.
• Night shift enhancement: £1.50 per hour from 8pm to 7am, Monday to Sunday (excluding sleep-ins).
• Weekend day enhancement: £2.00 per hour from 7am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Newlands House, rated "Good" by CQC, is a home for 37 people with physical disabilities. We are located on Main Street, Netherseal, Swadlincote DE12 8DA. Please check the location before applying.

Role Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily tasks including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.

Candidate Requirements

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility and creativity in supporting customers and their families.
• Personal care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota if required.
