This role is based within a Care Home in Harlow, Essex.

The Care Assistant will assist with daily routines, including personal care and feeding.

Care Assistants support the daily care of patients in homes, supported living, or community settings.

As a Care Assistant / Support Worker / HCA, you will work under supervision of Senior Care Assistants or Staff Nurses along with other Care Assistants.

Your duties may include:

• Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing
• Assisting with eating and serving food
• Making and changing beds
• Turning bedridden patients to prevent pressure sores
• Engaging patients in conversation and activities
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Helping with toileting needs
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of rooms and living areas
• Managing supplies and equipment

The people supported include:

• Vulnerable children & adults
• Individuals with epilepsy, learning disabilities, or autism
