Job summary

Royal Mencap Society is seeking compassionate care staff to provide 24‑hour support for individuals with learning disabilities across our services in the UK. You will participate in rota-based shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, while delivering person-centered care with empathy and respect.

The role emphasizes strong communication, building trusting relationships, and maintaining safe, inclusive environments.

Job description

What we're looking for

Contract options

• Full-time: 37.5
• Part-time: Various hours available

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

• Days: Between 07:00-22:00
• Sleep‑ins: 22:00-07:00

There is also a sleep‑in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of£64.20.

*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
