Job summary

Royal Mencap Society in Witham is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our team. You will help adults with learning and physical disabilities live independently, assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and contributing to a safe, caring home environment across our 24-hour service layout of flats and bungalows.

We value empathy, strong communication, and flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals!Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Witham.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of approximately 24 individuals with varying levels of learning and physical disabilities. OurWitham service consistsof a mixture of individual flats, shared flats and shared bungalows.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

What we're looking for:

• A genuine passion forsupporting others.
• Excellent communicationskills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Flexibility to workvarious shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive andempathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Contract options:

• Relief (Casual)
• Days: Between07:00-22:00 (early or late shift)

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas atleast 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

There is also a sleep-in available where youwillreceive an enhanced flat rate paymentof£64.20.
