Job summary

National Care Group is hiring a dedicated Support Worker to help young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in Basildon/Wickford. You will build relationships, support daily activities, personal care, and accompany individuals on community days out.

This is a full-time role with shifts including early, late and weekends, and a full UK driving licence is required. You will join a team that values compassion, independence, and growth, with access to paid training and opportunities

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together.
• Help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and errands.
• Assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and medication.
• Plan and participate in days out the individuals wish to enjoy.
• Make a positive impact by supporting independence wherever possible.
