Job summary

ESP Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support elderly residents in residential and nursing home settings, helping with daily living, safety and independence. You will follow care plans, document progress, and work with senior healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.

The role offers weekly PAYE pay, pension enrollment, and holiday pay, with DBS and reference checks required. Shifts are offered via your availability to fit around personal life, with opportunities for career

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow home policies and procedures and respond to safeguarding requirements.

Job description

As a Care Assistant your role would be to provide support and care to elderly residents within the residential and nursing home settings. You will support residents with their daily needs and maintaining their safety and independence. Additionally, you will support elderly individuals with their potential mental health, dementia, learning disabilities and physical health through support, inclusion, personal care and everyday needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with the resident’s activities of daily living

What We're Looking For:

• NVQ Level 2 or any relevant qualifications to the role
• Minimum of 6 months UK based care experience (within the last 3 years)
• Right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship)
• Candidates willing to undergo thorough DBS and Reference checks
• Ability to follow clear Instructions, Policies and Procedures of each Home
• Strong communication, organisation, and team skills
• Compassion, Commitment, patience, and a practical mindset
