Job summary

ESP Care is seeking a Nightshift Support Worker in Pencoed to provide compassionate care to elderly residents in residential and nursing home settings. You will support residents with daily needs and help maintain safety and independence.

This role offers weekly PAYE pay, pension enrolment, and holiday pay included in hourly rates, with shifts arranged around your availability. DBS and references will be completed as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK-based care experience (within last 3 years).
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualifications for the role.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures of each Home.
• Commitment to patient dignity, respect and safety.

Responsibilities

Salary: From £14.50 (PAYE)

About the Role:

As a Care Assistant your role would be to provide support and care to elderly residents within the residential and nursing home settings. You will support residents with their daily needs and maintaining their safety and independence. Additionally, you will support elderly individuals with their potential mental health, dementia, learning disabilities and physical health through support, inclusion, personal care and everyday needs.

What We're Looking For:

• NVQ Level 2 or any relevant qualifications to the role
• Minimum of 6 months UK based care experience (within the last 3 years)

• Candidates willing to undergo thorough DBS and Reference checks
• Ability to follow clear Instructions, Policies and Procedures of each Home
• Strong communication, organisation, and team skills
