Job summary

Avenues Group in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a small team of nine in a supported living setting, helping four wheelchair users with acquired brain injuries enjoy daily activities and community outings.

Driver with a full UK manual licence is highly preferred to assist with transport; safeguarding and disability inclusion awareness is beneficial. This is a full-time, on-site role with a pro rata salary of £25,845 per year, and Disability Confident employer status.

Qualifications

• Driver with a full UK manual licence preferred to support community outings.
• Experience or understanding of supported living and disability inclusion is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support four adults with disabilities from acquired brain injuries in a supported living environment.
• Assist with daily activities and community outings, including trips to cinema and meals, as part of a small team.
