Job summary

Lifeways Group in South Tyneside (Jarrow) is seeking confident support workers to join a purpose-built service for adults with complex needs. Roles available on Full Time or Part Time contracts, with an enhanced rate of pay.

You will support eight adults with diverse disabilities, working on a 1-1 or 2-1 basis as part of a rolling rota, and contribute to a warm, values-driven team environment. Training and induction provided, with opportunities for NVQ/Positive Behaviour Support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months relevant experience in a similar role.
• Ability to provide 1-1 and 2-1 support as needed.
• Flexible with rolling rota and on-site service needs.
• DBS checks and references required.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with complex needs to live as independently as possible.
• Work individually and in teams to deliver person-centred care.
• Record charts, administer medication, and manage basic finances.
• Use electronic systems and handheld devices for day-to-day duties.
