Job summary

Care Connection is recruiting experienced Support Workers to assist our clients in Wiltshire. The role involves supporting children with SEND and mental health needs, learning difficulties and autism, helping them access activities and build confidence.

Shifts run 07:00–22:00 with waking nights and sleep-ins available. You will follow a care plan, work with one child or with a team, and may work at home, in the garden, or in the community. Induction training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering support to children in health or social care.
• Ability to work one-to-one or with other staff or health professionals.
• Familiarity with following a care plan, safety and communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support within a children's health or social care environment, assisting daily living tasks or development of new skills.
• Work one-to-one with a child or with other support workers or health professionals.
• Support may be provided in the home, garden, or outside in the community.
• A care plan on site must be followed for tasks, safety, client communication and any end-of-life instructions where relevant.
