Job summary

Brandon Trust is a charity supporting autistic people and those with learning disabilities to live life to the full. As a Support Worker in Chipping Norton you’ll assist with daily living, personal care and community activities, always guided by the person’s goals and preferences.

You’ll join a compassionate team dedicated to inclusion, choice, and respect, with training and development opportunities and a 24/7 rota on shifts including sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• A kind and thoughtful approach rooted in empathy and respect.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence is Essential.

Responsibilities

• Support with day-to-day activities like shopping, cooking, and managing health needs.
• Assist with personal care in a respectful and person-centred way.
• Help people pursue hobbies, routines, and social activities, including planning trips and attending work.
• Support individuals with daily living tasks to promote independence and dignity.
• Work with the person to implement plans and adapt to changing needs.
