Job summary

Potens is a national provider of health, social and education services with over 35 years of experience. As a Support Worker, you will assist young adults with learning disabilities 1-1 and sometimes 2-1, promoting wellbeing, independence and community involvement.

Flexibility for rota shifts and manual driving is required, with DBS checks and safeguarding in place. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a contributory pension and an accessible Employee Assistance Programme.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently, multitask, organise and prioritise.
• Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels.
• Ability to execute and deliver with a positive attitude under pressure.
• Driver (Manual) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 and occasionally 2-1 support to young adults with learning disabilities.
• Promote positive wellbeing and independence.
• Engage with individuals about their likes and goals.
• Support access to community and leisure activities.
• Assist with personal care when required.
