Potens is a national provider of health, social and education services with over 35 years of experience. As a Support Worker, you will assist young adults with learning disabilities 1-1 and sometimes 2-1, promoting wellbeing, independence and community involvement.

Flexibility for rota shifts and manual driving is required, with DBS checks and safeguarding in place. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a contributory pension and an accessible Employee Assistance Programme.

What you\'ll be doing:

• Currently, we support young adults with learning disabilities.
• You will be supporting 1-1 and at times 2-1.
• Continue to promote positive well-being.
• Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are.
• Maintain and develop their community links, and access community and leisure pursuits to support their independent living and life skills.
• Personal care may be involved.

Who you are:

• Able to work independently, multitask, organise and prioritise work to suit the people we support.
• Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external.
• Ability to execute and deliver, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure
• Quick learner, hands-on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
• Flexible - shift will be on a rota basis and can include days/evenings and waking nights when required
• Driver essential (Manual only)
