Job summary

Voyage Care in Cambridge is seeking compassionate Support Workers to help people gain independence and participate in daily living activities within a supportive team.

You will assist with personal care, enable community access, and help with social activities, arts and crafts, and day-to-day routines. DBS checks and references apply; a genuine commitment to people’s wellbeing is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be genuinely caring and hands-on in daily support.
• Should be resilient, flexible and composed in approach.
• Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals with autism.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence by teaching life skills and assisting with personal care.
• Enable community access, socialising and activities as part of daily routines.
• Work as part of a team to support a fantastic group of people in a dynamic environment.
