Job summary

Priory Group in Belfast is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a full-time 38.5 hour role covering days and nights at Shaftesbury Mews. The home provides residential and nursing support to residents with autism, learning disabilities and other needs.

You will participate in assessment and care planning, support activities, maintain records and work with a compassionate team to enhance wellbeing and dignity for residents.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills essential for interacting with residents, families and colleagues.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills to support diverse needs.
• Caring and respectful approach to helping residents with daily living tasks.
• Willingness to work across day and night shifts with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.
• Encourage participation in activities and community life.
• Support residents in achieving personal outcomes and goals.
• Maintain accurate records, care plans, charts, and daily notes.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and stakeholders.
