Job summary

Priory Group’s Juniper View in Belfast is seeking a Support Worker on day shifts and driving duties. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with a salary of £13.45 per hour. A full UK driving licence is required for insurance purposes.

You will work with residents with learning disabilities and complex needs, providing personal care, supporting activities, and helping residents achieve personal outcomes while maintaining records and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving license for insurance purposes (minimum 3 years).
• Experience in care or support work is desirable, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.
• Encourage participation in activities and community life.
• Support service users in achieving personal outcomes in the way they choose.
• Maintain accurate records, care plans, charts, and daily notes.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality in line with policies and regulations.
• Act as a key worker for individuals, helping them to set goals and track progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and involvement at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and suggestions.
