Job summary

Dimensions seeks a compassionate support worker to assist a gentleman in his own home. The role involves calm, patient support, helping with daily activities such as walks, shopping, and maintaining a comfortable living space.

You will work part-time hours (12 per week) with a flexible pattern starting Monday to Friday, 10am–1pm. The candidate should be kind, patient, a good listener, and capable of encouraging independence while working well within a small team.

About the Role

We’re building a new support team for a gentleman in his 40's that we’ll soon be supporting in his own home - and we’re looking for someone compassionate, patient, and encouraging to join us.

You’ll be supporting a quiet, gentleman with Autism who has a great sense of humour he enjoys music. He thrives with calm, steady support and benefits from encouragement to build confidence in everyday activities such as:

• Daily walks
• Shoppingand planning meals
• Keeping his home comfortable

While the core hours are set, there may occasionally be planned support needed outside these times - always with plenty of notice.
